| 摘要： | labor peace has been reached on the nation's rail-roads, with U.S. freight railroad carriers and railroad labor unions coming to terms on a tentative deal on Sept. 15. Leading up to this development, there had been a high level of uncertainty and anxiety among supply chain stakeholders throughout multiple modes of freight transportation, with a 12:01 a.m. Sept. 16 deadline marking the end of a 30-day "cooling off period between the 12 U.S.-based railroad labor unions and the six largest freight railroad carriers. Those agreements followed the announcement of the appointment of the Presidential Emergency Board (PEB) by President Biden, which focused on resolving the ongoing labor dispute. |
