| 摘要： | ITE JOURNAL: Tell us more about your professional history as a meeting planner. What drew you to the field, and what were some of your positions prior to ITE? MARTIN: As some meeting planners will tell you, I fell into this role by accident. I participated in my first behind the scenes role at an association event in New York City in 2006. There, I helped with registration and interacted with members for the first time. The experience of being a part of something bigger than myself solidified my desire to be in the business events industry. Since then, I have strategized events for associations related to public transportation, federal credit unions, and digital journalism. I even spent a few years supporting corporate members at one of those associations. |
