| 摘要： | Emerging strong from the pandemic, this year the Greater Tampa Section of ITE (GTSITE) board decided to increase its pace and hold professional development events monthly. The Section typically alternates between webinars and face-to-face luncheon meetings.This strategy has provided the opportunity to host presenters from a broader geographic area and to keep up engagement with members who might not be able to travel.In between these offerings, the Section has volunteer and social events. To give back to the community, in June of this year members got together to stock a local food pantry's storefront. A tour of Port Tampa Bay is planned for later this year. These events are typically concluded with a happy hour or other social gathering to provide networking and relationship opportunities (and, of course, a bit of fun!).The Section's biggest event of the year is the year-end awards banquet to celebrate the group's many accomplishments, including announcing three awards nominated and selected by members. Board election results are also announced, and a technical presentation is made.This schedule means there's almost always something on the calendar, giving members ample opportunity to connect and develop new skills, with event sizes ranging from a few attendees to nearly 100, virtual and in-person options, and highly technical to networking-oriented event types. GTSITE's goal is to give its members a variety of options to suit their tastes. |
