| 摘要： | The University of Memphis ITE Student Chapter hosted a Transportation Summer Camp, June 20-24, to provide a summer enrichment experience for 24 middle and high school students in grades 5-9. The camp provided hands-on, project-based learning opportunities and interactions with Student Chapter members to showcase the impact and importance of transportation professionals in our communities, and the connections between science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) and transportation careers. In addition, the program provided participants with understanding of preparation required to enter these fields, communication and soft-skills training and practice, and leadership development experiences. |
