| 摘要： | ITE recently learned of the passing of the following member. We recognize her for her contributions to ITE and the profession, and send condolences to her family. Norine M. Walker, P.E. of Alexandria, VA, USA passed away on January 24, 2023. A member of ITE from 1982-2007, Norine served on the board of the Washington DC Section of ITE (WDCSITE) and was named the WDCSITEYoung Engineer of the Year in 1992. Beginning in 2000, she was actively involved in the $2.3 billion project to construct the Woodrow Wilson Bridge spanning the states of Maryland and Virginia, USA, leading the community relations outreach on the project as well as involvement in the environmen- tal planning, approval, design oversight work, and construction phases. Norine was also on the board of the National Capital Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and received the ASCE Lifetime Excellence in Service Award in 2018. |
