The majority of projects my team and I have been working as of late include several major statewide planning efforts such as the update to our State's long-range transportation plan (Access Ohio), the update to our state freight plan (Transport Ohio), and development of a new Resiliency Improvement Plan. 1. Updating our State's Long-Range Transportation Plan, Access Ohio. Every 5 years, our team leads the update our State's Long-Range Transportation Plan, Access Ohio. This effort helps the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) define a long-range vision and goals for the state's multimodal transportation system and evaluate current system performance against these goals. Our team helps forecast growth and change within the state and communicate how that change can be accommodated through transportation investments and policies. |
