| 摘要： | ITE JOURNAL: Tell us a little more about your day-to-day work at Jacobs, including some examples of the projects you're involved with, and the type of people you work with. MCGUIRE: At Jacobs, I currently manage a variety of transportation planning projects in Delaware, USA. My favorite projects to work on include the Long-Range Transportation Plan, CMAQ Program Management, and most recently, the Delaware Transportation Resilience Improvement Plan. It is difficult to describe my "day-to-day," but I can describe a typical week. I normally go into our Center City, Philadelphia office twice a week. I enjoy the dynamic, multimodal commute (short drive, short train ride, short walk) as well as the aesthetic and energy of the office. I also try to take advantage of the city's amenities on the days I am there-Philadelphia is a very walkable city! The remainder of the week is split between traveling to the Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) or working from my home office. I love connecting with my clients in their world and understanding more about their challenges and successes, while also learning a little more about their lives and personalities. |
