| 摘要： | The ITE Nevada section continues to host board meetings and monthly luncheons with guest speakers on diverse and exciting projects. Post-COVID, the Section has met the challenge of hosting meetings that can be attended both in person and virtually. Topics this year have ranged from planning and managing drive-thru queue to how bitcoin and NFTs (non-fungible tokens) relate to engineering, and the Nevada Department ofTransportation (NDOT) Freeway Service Operations, to name a few. The Section strives to offer at least biannual technical tours. Planned upcoming tours include Las Vegas Formula 1 and a motional autonomous vehicle facility for 2023. ITE is one of a handful of organizations in Nevada to host the Fall Transportation Conference every fall, which is widely attended by engineers throughout Nevada. |
