| 摘要： | This is the technical reference for the project: Integrating GIS and Transportation Modeling Operations for the Nebraska Department of Roads (NDOR). NDOR and the University of Nebraska at Lincoln (UNL) performed an assessment of using a Geographic Information System (GIS) for transportation modeling at NDOR. Phase I of the project included (a) completion of a literature review, (b) identification of current users of GIS and transportation modeling, (c) highlighting the potential benefits and disadvantages, (d) seeking additional sources of data, (e)developing theoretical methodologies for implementation and, (f) identification of additional programs for applications. Phase II of this project focused on the development of traffic modeling procedures based on GIS data. |
