| 摘要： | In 20 years, what will this nation's roads and highways look like, and, more important, how will trucks and buses safely and efficiently navigate those highways. A group of industry, government, and university experts met at the Conference on Future Truck and Bus Safety Research Opportunities in Arlington, Virginia, on March 23 and 24, 2005, to consider these questions and to explore the types of research needed to meet the challenges of the future. The conference was jointly sponsored by the Transportation Research Board and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. |
