| 摘要： | Efficiency assessment tools, like cost-benefit analysis, have not been extensively used for the assessment of road safety measures. Increased use of efficiency analysis in road safety policy will improve the selection of economically sensible measures. If these road safety measures are implemented the numbers of fatalities and injuries on European roads will most probably decrease. In this report the barriers to the use of efficiency assessment tools are identified. More knowledge about the effect of road safety measures, more knowledge about what economic valuation implies and better dissemination of results from analyses can all help reduce the barriers. |
