| 摘要： | ITE JOURNAL: As an experienced planner, you've worked on everything from transit and pedestrian projects to infrastructure and strategic planning. What do you enjoy most about being a planning professional? ZHANG: I love creating places and infrastructure for current and future communities. It's a great satisfaction when I can physically see the planning objectives that I helped to implement for the community, and bring additional benefits to the community. My passion is to bring more accessible public transport to communities-whether this is providing higher frequency of services, or more connected existing services, or new transport infrastructure, I believe this has huge social value and economic advantages within communities ITEJ: One of your skills is client engagement, and helping translate client needs into the most suitable outcome. What do you think some of the key factors are in doing this successfully? |
