| 摘要： | The purpose of this study was to analyze the impact of Hurricane Andrew on three distinct sectors of the recreational boating industry: boaters, marinas, and the marine services industries. Specifically the objectives of this study were: (1) to evaluate the hurricane preparedness plans of the boaters, marinas and other marine related businesses in Dade County, (2) to assess the damage caused by Hurricane Andrew to the boats, marinas, boat yards, and other boating businesses, and (3) to determine the future boating activities of Dade County boat owners and the rebuilding plans of the marine businesses. |
