| 摘要： | AS EXPECTED, following the July 25 tentative agreement made between UPS and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters and the August 1, nearly-unanimous 161-1 vote in favor of endorsing the tentative agreement, the Teamsters stated on August 22 that the deal has now been ratified by UPS Teamsters members. The Teamsters said that 86.3% of its UPS members voted to ratify a new five-year contract, which it called "the most historic collective bargaining agreement in the history of UPS," with the contract "protecting and rewarding its national Teamsters members and raising wages for full- and part-time workers, creating more full-time jobs, and securing important workplace protections, including air conditioning." |
