| 摘要： | IT'S CRAZY TO SEE THAT THE CALENDAR IS TELLING US we've put 2021 in the books and we're on to 2022. It was truly an unprecedented period of time. It's worth looking at the last year and taking into consideration where things are and how we got here-and, perhaps most interestingly, thinking through some of the key trends and themes that have emerged amid the madness of these times. It goes without saying that when the pandemic kicked in, there was a tremendous period of uncertainty and unease, given the impact of the lockdown, which led us all to wonder what was going to happen next. At first we saw a lot of things simply shut down-think manufacturing operations, automobile production, in-person shopping, and many more. But that was followed by a heavy increase in online shopping, which subsequently brought about what was called "shipageddon" as delivery networks became strained by the minute. People were stuck with nowhere to go, but got to do things like home improvement projects and working out, which led to a massive surge in home materials and exercise equipment and subsequent shipping delays due to the increased activity. |
