| 摘要： | THE COVER OF THE JULY EDITION of LM that kicked off our annual State of Logistics edition featured the headline: "Out of sync." That simple headline tells the whole story. The word count for this column isn't long enough to touch upon the many issues and challenges that we've all seen as they relate to supply chain, logistics, and freight transportation going back to the onset of the pandemic. But maybe that's OK, because we all managed through those trying times. And with the initial hurdles that the pandemic brought on-including the lockdown, limited product availability, staffing issues, and general uncertainty-we saw some new logistics and supply chain challenges come along for the ride. However, I happy to continue to report that supply chain stakeholders didn't harbor any type of a "woe is me" outlook in this regard. The reason for that is that they were on the front lines to keep moving, sourcing, and storing things we all need to keep life as we know it rolling along. |
