Rosana Correa serves as a project manager and client service lead for Jacobs in Tampa, FL, USA. She is a registered professional engineer in Florida and Puerto Rico. Her background includes traffic impact studies, signal timing plans, traffic projection studies, signal warrant analyses, travel time studies, interchange studies, and corridor studies. Rosana holds a bachelor of science in Civil Engineering and a master of science in Transportation Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez. Rosana has been involved in ITE since she was a student at the University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez and her leadership roles include the International Board, as well as positions at the District, Section, Chapter, and Student Chapter levels. Rosana received the ITE Florida Section Sherwood H. "Woody" Hiller Distinguished Service Award in 2017. John Davis is the city traffic engineer for the City of Des Moines, IA, USA. He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in Civil Engineering from Purdue Univer- sity. Over his 40-year career, John has previously worked for the City of Indianapolis, IN, USA, for Lee County, FL, USA, and for engineering firms based in Wisconsin. Joining ITE as a student member at Purdue in 1981, John has since held appointed and elected leadership roles at all levels of ITE. Starting in 1989 as the Indiana Sections newsletter editor and then elected as a Section officer in Indiana, he continued his service as a Section President (Florida, 1999), a District President (District 10, 1999; Midwestern, 2009), and recently as an officer for the Iowa Section. He has served twice on the International Board of Direction representing District 10 (2002-2004) and then the Midwestern District (2016-2018). John has served on the Transportation Professional Certification Board, chaired ITE's Traffic Engineering Council and Traffic Bowl Committee, and led other Committees and Task Forces at all ITE levels. He is presently the vice chair of the Public Agency Council. John was the 2015 recipient of ITE's Burton W. Marsh Award for Distinguished Service, and recognized for his distinguished service by the Florida and Wisconsin Sections and the Midwestern District. He has served in a variety of leadership roles in Scouting. In 2019, he worked to lead a program area on transportation during the World Scout Jamboree. John is an Eagle Scout and Silver Beaver Award recipient. |
