摘要：	The U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) Office of the Assistant Secretary for Research and Technology's (OST-R) Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Joint Program Office (JPO) and the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) concluded a joint effort to update a series of Web-based modules in the ITS ePrimer-a comprehensive source of fundamental concepts and practices related to ITS technologies, commensurate with the state of the art. The ITS ePrimer is a resource that evolved from the Intelligent Transportation Primer, first published in 2000, in collaboration with ITE and ITS America. It reflects significant technological advances and state-of-the-art, best practices that have occurred since the development and publication of the 2000 Primer and the original ITS ePrimer, published in 2014. It incorporates innovations in the delivery of fundamental concepts and learning materials, including an easy-to-use electronic format with relevant web links, and timely updates and additions.
