| 摘要： | On June 27, ITE Michigan members assisted Plaster Creek Stewards with propagating native plants that are used in watershed restoration across the Grand Rapids area. Plaster Creek Stewards is a local nonprofit organization that works to ameliorate harmful downstream effects of the long-contaminated creek as well as educate the community about the roles they can play in restoring the health of the watershed. They provide educational resources to community members, install curb-cut rain gardens in the watershed region, monitor the creek's water quality, and use native plants in slope restoration and detention basin installations. This event was a great way for ITE Michigan members to give back to the community they live and serve in. ITE Michigan would like to send thanks to all who came out to assist! |
