Not least because of the increasing demand for transport and limited possibilities to expand railway infrastructures, efficient dispatching approaches gain in importance. The Institute of Railway and Transportation Engineering at the University of Stuttgart developed a proactive dispatching algorithm, which automatically generates robust dispatching solutions while taking random disturbances in dynamic circumstances into account. |
