| 摘要： | Toyota Motor Corporation announced its goal to achieve global sales of 3.5 million battery electric vehicles (BEVs) per year by 2030 at a media briefing at MEGA WEB in Tokyo. It was also reported that Lexus aims to have BEVs account for 100 percent of its vehicle sales in Europe, North America, and China by 2030, and to account for 100 percent of its sales globally starting in 2035. "We need to reduce CO2 emissions as much as possible, as soon as possible," said President Akio Toyoda on stage at the event. "It is difficult to make everyone happy with a one-size-fits-all option. That is why Toyota wants to prepare as many options as possible for our customers around the world." Toyota first presented their plans to expand their bZ (beyond Zero) series by introducing five new models. |
