| 摘要： | This report describes the technical details behind the implementation of a visual inspection system for railroad tracks for the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT). It consists of the various algorithms used, and their results in finding defects in tracks including structural and geometric defects. Included is a system on the FDOT's Hi-Rail vehicle deployed for monitoring the gage and notifying the inspector when the gage is not within prescribed limits. This description includes, but is not limited to the hardware interfaces, software Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs) and the actual implementation details of the algorithms. The equipment on-board the Hi-Rail vehicle is currently in service and has been extensively tested over the last 6 months. |
