| 摘要： | To complement Bulk Transporter's new look, our group's editorial director decided we need a new voice: Mine. As a journalist who prefers third person, I wasn't thrilled, but this time (OK, it wasn't the first), he was right. So, going forward, 'Think Tank' is my safe space, where I'll share thoughts on issues that matter to me, and hopefully you. I'd like to start with a heartfelt thanks to everyone who's reading this. I'm truly grateful for the opportunity to steward a title that has served this industry since 1937. That's 85 years, if you do the math (not my specialty). And as much as I like to joke, I take the responsibility seriously. It's my duty to care for a publication that has meant so much to so many, for so long. The list includes my predecessor and mentor. Chuck Wilson; and previous editors John Conley and Austin Sutherland-the publication's original editor-who both went on to serve as National Tank Truck Carriers president. No, that doesn't mean I want Ryan Streblow's job. He attends too many meetings for me. |
