摘要：	This codebook documents data sets describing a sample of pedestrian accidents that occurred in the USA during calendar years 1994-1998. These sets represent the NASS system distribution file dated March 3, 2001. The data sets were generated by the Transportation Data Center at the University of Michigan's Transportation Research Institute from data collected by the National Center for Statistics and Analysis (NCSA) of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). The cooperation of NHTSA is gratefully acknowledged. Unlike other NASS datasets the PCDS data is not a statistical sample and, therefore, there are no case weight variables.
