Diagnosing vehicles today is challenging, as automakers change access to the modules and components and keep adding more every year. Having the right scan tool and vehicle communication interface (VCI) to communicate with the vehicle and knowing what DTCs mean in the pre-repair scan and how they affect components - and also knowing how a toolbox in the background of the camera view affects the calibration -are the skills of the diagnostic technician. |
