| 摘要： | At the beginning of a new year, it's a good time to look back at the previous year and reflect on the near future. This allows us to assess our current situation and help plan for the year ahead. In this article, we will focus on the technology, sharing some issues that may help you immediately, as well as some that might get you thinking. The news in fiber optics in the last year was dominated by the "tsunami" of federal funding for infrastructure rebuilding and development. We covered that in detail in the last issue of the IMSA Journal. I'm sure you are hearing about this funding from other directions, too. I'll bet that most cities and towns are already busy applying for funds they need to repair and update their infrastructure. This means there will be a big increase in fiber optic network construction. We have a shortage of workers, and the Fiber Optic Association is already working feverishly with state and local agencies to help build a competent workforce. |
