摘要：	IMSA officially joined The Transportation Research Board (TRB) in 2010 and I served as IMSA's first representative, having attended TRB since 2007 as a member of several committees. Chip Lang became Primary Representative in 2018, and I was designated the Alternate. I was Chair of the Maintenance and Operations Personnel committee for six years. It is now a subcommittee and I continue as its Chair. It focuses on how demographic, technological, political and other factors are impacting the roadway and traffic control systems maintenance workforce. The TRB is a division of the National Academy of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NAS), which serves as an independent adviser to the president of the United States, Congress and federal agencies on scientific and technical questions of national importance. TRB is supported by the American Association of State Highway Transportation Officials (AASHTO), the U.S. Department of Transportation and other federal agencies, industry associations and other organizations and individuals interested in the development of transportation.
