Also in the magazine, National Highways gives readers an update on its progress towards net zero, one year on from setting out its plans and priorities. Its achievements include ensuring that 100% of its energy is sourced from renewable energy, converting 38% of its 1,300 vehicle fleet to greener plug-in hybrid cars and using lower-carbon LED bulbs to light more than 16% of its roads. Not a bad start. |
