| 摘要： | Motorways and strategic A roads could see more full closures under plans to shorten the impact of road works and increase the safety of workers. National Highways project managers are being asked to consider a full closure approach as part of the planning for forthcoming schemes on the SRN. In its updated delivery plan for 2022-23, National Highways said it will 'reduce the impact of road works on the driving public and local communities, by supporting projects within our Regional Investment Programme to explore an alternative approach to road closures'. It adds: 'We'll look at the benefits of closing a road off completely for a short time period, against our traditional longer weekend closure methods'. |
