RSTA chief executive Paul Boss has been in the job for around two and a half years and he seemed very much at home leading the association's Fact or Friction event in Reading this September. Having had a three-year strategy approved at the end of last year, Mr Boss is setting about bringing RSTA's message to the sector and in the case of this friendly and informative conference, bringing the sector to the RSTA. Looking back on his achievements so far, he told Highways: 'We have a lot more members, we have increased our training ability and have a presence at all the major conferences. We want to make sure that the clients know we are there for them - not just giving support and confidence through our membership network, but through the growing suite of practical guidance documents endorsed by ADEPT that we have available for free online. We want to help people become intelligent clients.' |
