Hamilton Tarmac, JH Civil Engineering, John McGeady, Maclay Civil Engineering and Newlay Civil Engineering have landed places on a three-year framework with East Renfrewshire Council that will see spending of £13.2m on road and footpath reconstruction over the next three years. Eight bids were received for places on the framework, which can be extended by a further year to take the estimated spending up to £17.6m. 2. Fox Owmby has an estimated £4.6m deal for a package of improvements at the junction of Blackhorse Way and Foxham Way (pictured) at the Wichelstowe residential development being built by Barratt Homes. The job is part of a package of infrastructure improvements to be added after permission was agreed in 2021 to add another 600 homes at Wichelstowe. Fox Owmby is expected to start this summer with consulting engineers Stantec supervising the works. |
