Octavius Infrastructure enjoyed a bumper third quarter of 2023, booking in £139m of highways work in the three months to September to top the quarterly table. The infrastructure firm was spun out of Geoffrey Osborne in 2021 with private equity backing from Sullivan Street Partners. It also bought infrastructure contractor R&W out of administration in July. Octavius landed places on three major frameworks, including both regional iterations of the new YORCivil3 agreement, and also bagged a £32.8m job to build the Clophill M1-A6 link road north of Luton for Central Bedfordshire Council. The two new YORCivil deals were the biggest awards of the quarter with spending of £800m anticipated across the two regional agreements. |
