| 摘要： | As first announced by Highways online, the Institute of Highway Engineers (IHE) has announced a £10 discount for all fee-paying members in 2024. The decision was taken by the IHE's full Council at a meeting on 12 October, following another successful year for the Institute. Having secured good financial results over the last 12 months, with an increase in total membership as well as an expanded training offer, the IHE leadership dug deep to give wider support to its members. The news comes on the back of last year's freeze of fees, in response to the cost of living crisis, which saw inflation reach around 11%. Inflation has subsequently fallen but currently remains at roughly 6%. |
