| 摘要： | The worlds of transport and technology are constantly evolving and changing. Over the next 10 years, I fully expect to see driverless cars become commonplace on Britain's roads and an acceleration of the Government's smart cities agenda. As part of that push, Buchanan has just launched its latest iteration of ParkMap, which has been updated and re-designed with an eye to the future, allowing the creation of the services needed to enable driverless cars to navigate the UK's complex roadside restrictions. The new cloud mapping service is being rolled out across the UK and is already used by 90 local authorities. It uses an open API that is part of the company's ParkMap 7 cloud system, enabling local authorities to capture and manage their parking and traffic controls, providing them with an accurate digital twin of what is happening at street level. This latest exciting innovation comes as we mark our 25th anniversary as a leader in the transport and technology sector. |
