| 摘要： | A L1.15bn PFI contract notice for highways services in Birmingham has been published, launching one of local government's largest procurement races. Interested bidders have until 22 March to hand in tenders or requests to participate. The deal covers the 'rehabilitation, operation and maintenance of the highways network infrastructure' in Birmingham and runs until June 2035. Contractors including Balfour Beatty Cam ell, Colas, Kier and Tarmac and consultants Arup and Arcadis are understood to be interested in bidding for the work. National Highways has launched a review of innovations in transport modelling, together with a survey to gather information and opinions from the sector. A consortium led by WSP and Mott Mac Donald was commissioned to carry out the review and 'idenlify ;and prioritise modelling, analytical and computational innovations to support better policy and investment decisions and future-proof these against emerging challenges'. |
