| 摘要： | Ringway has reclaimed the annual contractors title after finishing last year with a bumper contract award.The firm replaced Kier as Surrey County Council's highways maintenance contractor in October last year and its new deal is expected to be worth up to £2.5bn including extensions.The deal was the highest value contract award of 2021 and came amidst an otherwise quiet quarter.The only other big highways deal awarded in the final three months of 2021 was a £250m term maintenance agreement set up by Kent County Council and awarded to Ferrovial subsidiary Amey and Maidstone-based Gallagher Aggregates.Leeds City Council followed a similar formula of signing up a national and local contractor when agreeing a highways framework with Bouygues' road maintenance arm Colas and Bradford-based Hinko Construction that is expected to see spending of up to £60m over four years. |
