| 摘要： | Rennicks is celebrating the first UK installation of its 'Internet of Things (IoT) Weather Station' after securing an exclusive distributor deal with manufacturer Klimator, a Swedish company that launched the product around five years ago and has seen it deployed across the Nordic region, Lithuania and now Bolton, England. As with others before it, Klimator has taken advantage of loT networks to reduce costs due to the much lower power consumption involved in harvesting and sending data packets. This means the IoT Weather Station can run on battery power, making it much easier to install and run. The data is picked up every 15 minutes and the battery lasts between two to three years. |
