| 摘要： | The overall aim should be to give our industry a standard, recognised format to bring new and existing workers to a competency level that would improve quality within the street works environment. This is also about making the industry attractive enough to encourage school leavers, second careerists, forces leavers and others to join, with a vision of them obtaining recognised qualifications. It would also be open to existing operatives that wish to gain recognition for their current qualifications and to build on those by entering into the career pathway infrastructure to attain the recognised standard qualification. Too often, the utilities sector is over-generalised and seen as people putting a spade in the ground, but the industry has much more to offer in the modern day, with plenty of innovation that brings new ways of working to the sector, which would also need to be considered as part of the overall standard. |
