| 摘要： | The UK's flagship parking event is returning to the NEC for the first time in three years and the sector has a lot of catching up to do. Private parking operators are working to become compliant with the new Private Parking Code of Practice (See Highways March 2022) by the end of 2023 or face a ban from accessing DVLA data. Many private operators may still be licking their wounds over the reduction in charges for a breach of the parking terms and conditions. However, the Government has not set up the accompanying oversight bodies yet, leaving an odd sense of limbo. Ms Tooze tells Highways. 'We are still operating our approved operator scheme. The Government would love it if people applied the principles of the code as soon as they can but it will be well into 2023 that we see this universally applied.' |
