This month's column is a nod to my old chum and occasional sparring partner David Metz, who has, for some time now, been inviting us to recognise the dark side of the SatNav. I have a somewhat testy relationship with the SatNav - built into the touchscreen of our otherwise perfectly fine six-year-old car -born of the fact that I've never been that fond of following orders. Although my wife once observed, from the slippered luxury of the passenger seat, how many similarities she considered it to share with me. |
