| 摘要： | Demand for industrial and logistics space is set to rise by at least 29% compared to previous levels, according to a report published by the British Property Federation (BPF). National planning policy and increased housing targets have limited the available space for the logistics sector, which accounts for 14% of economic output in England and employs 3.8 million people. The UK government has pledged to invest £100m in nuclear power plant Sizewell C to drive further private investment. Capable of producing 3.2GW of electricity - enough to power six million UK homes - the project will create 10,000 jobs, although it will not start producing power for at least ten years. French state-owned nuclear company EDF is leading the project and will reimburse the government in cash or equity should it not secure enough investment backing. |
