| 摘要： | The main ingredient of AdBlue is industrial urea, which has ammonia as its key constituent. Producing ammonia consumes lots of energy, and the cost of the natural gas used to do that has skyrocketed as a result of the war in Ukraine. While continuing to stress its commitment to maintaining AdBlue supplies, soaring gas prices prompted leading maker Yara to curtail output at two of its European plants - one in Italy, one in France - earlierthis year because it had become uneconomic. Production at Yara plants in the Netherlands and Germany was continuing at the time of writing. Yara makes 2.8m tonnes of AdBlue annually and its Brunsbuttel, Germany plant is said to be the largest of its type in the world. |
