| 摘要： | Dual membrane batteries could provide long-term energy storage from renewables, according to Imperial College London researchers. A polysulfide-air redox flow battery (PSA RFB) can store excess energy making it a low-cost, long-term storage solution. Redox flow batteries allow energy to be stored in liquid electrolytes, which flow through the cells during charge and discharge. Funded by UK Research and Innovation Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council, and the European Research Council, the research makes use of cheap design materials and can be easily scaled up. |
