| 摘要： | Scotland could lose £60bn, including billions from the public purse, through the surrender of nearly two thirds of the potential supply chain spend and the 'underselling' of leasing rights for the offshore wind revolution. The Herald on Sunday reports that 20 ScotWind projects, with a combined potential generating capacity of 27.6GW - estimated to be enough to power over 14 million homes - were offered new rights to develop offshore wind power last year. But according to declarations made to gain rights to ScotWind, more than £47m of the £76.5bn of supply chain commitments covering at least the first six years of operation, will leave Scotland. The Herald on Sunday also reported that while ScotWind raised £755m from seabed lease deals, similar schemes in the US and in England have generated up to 18 times that for the public purse. |
