| 摘要： | Petronas has launched the Syntium product family of hybrid oils for vans and light commercial vehicles as well as passenger cars. The product is described as targeting heat-critical zones within the engine to prevent deposit build-up, extend part life and lower maintenance costs. Thanks to strong oil chains, the new lubricant is said to provide up to 68% higher oxidation resistance, controlling sludge, delaying oil thickening and maintaining a stable, protective film for maximum engine performance. Its 'CoolTech+' technology to control heat by reducing friction is said to cut fuel consumption by up to 3%. Making the transition to lower-viscosity engine oils requires careful consideration. While improvement in fuel economy is important, if an oil compromises the protection of your engines, it's not a worthwhile trade.
