| 摘要： | The IRTE Northern Centre welcomed a former Senior Traffic Commissioner and the developer of a road safety app for its final presentation lecture of 2022. Members and guests at the CPD event held at Accrington in Lancashire heard Beverley Bell recount some highlights from her career as a STC and the challenges that contemporary Transport Consultants deal with on a daily basis. In a presentation entitled 'A View from The Other Side', Beverley, who stepped down as a STC over five years ago, outlined the many areas of non-compliance that Beverley Bell Consulting and Training Services, based in Chorley in Lancashire, is engaged in, as transport operators seek assistance and guidance after failing to adhere to their operator licence requirements and obligations. Many of those failings today are the same as those that Beverley dealt with first as a Traffic Commissioner and then as the Senior TC, with maintenance system failings and unsatisfactory DVSA investigations commonplace. |
