| 摘要： | Lithuanian municipal Vilniaus Viesasis Transportas Ltd (VVT), which operates public transport in the capital Vilnius, plans to renew most of city's trolleybus fleet by buying 159 new battery-electrics. Trolleybus manufacturers are invited to tender for the contract to replace 167 Skoda 14Tr models, some of which date back to 1985. The most recent Skoda additions are from 1999. VTT tested a 24m Solaris 24 Metrostyle double-articulated trolleybus last December but said bus stops on the 18-line system are too short. The city plans to buy mainly two-axle models in future. |
