摘要: The government funding package that provides support for Transport for London (TfL) that was due to expire on February 4 (Look in on London last month) was extended, at the eleventh hour, by further two weeks to February 18 in order that TfL could continue discussions with the government in relation to further financial support. On February 7 Grant Shapps, Secretary of State for Transport, told the House of Commons that "This short extension will enable us to finalise the terms of a robust settlement for this period, ensuring TfL and the Mayor take steps to move towards financial sustainability."
