A statement blamed 'a period of difficult trading prior to the pandemic, the financial impact of the pandemic itself, followed immediately by the current surge in fuel prices and the cost-of-living crisis'. CT Plus Yorkshire provided local bus, specialist and schools services in West Yorkshire, while Powells of Hellaby, which had been acquired in July 2018, operated in South Yorkshire. Most operations were contracted, leaving the PTEs in both areas scrabbling around trying to find replacement operators. |
