The general public lined the streets of Keighley on August 7 for the Keighley Bus Museum Trust's 30th anniversary event and final opportunity to visit the Riverside premises it has occupied for 17 years. With the trust under notice to quit the building and seeking new accommodation for its collection of over 100 vehicles (Preservation Update, August), it turned the celebration of its formation in 1992 into a farewell open day, running day with connections to the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway, bus display and a road run around the West Yorkshire town, all of which was supported by both the Aire Valley Transport Group and Dewsbury Bus Museum. |
